Red Ribbon Week Spirit Days - October 27th - 31st! You are invited to participate in a week of spirit to celebrate our choice to be drug free. Please remember that all dress out days must be school appropriate.

Just go to Mama's Fried Chicken on 508 E Landry St., in Opelousas, between 3:00-8:00 P.M., and mention Grand Prairie Elementary so that GPE can recieve 15% of total sales. Twenty percent of proceeds will go to our Employee Apreciation Funds. Thank you very much for your help with this! We were very successful last month.

Grand Prairie Elementary remains without water. Buses will dismiss at 1:00 p.m., and car riders at 1:10 p.m. If no one will be available to receive your child from the bus, please contact the school. Plaisance Middle will dismiss at their regularly scheduled time.
