Mrs. Kellie Rabalais and Dr. Nicole Morrison are participants in the Human Capital Advocacy Fellowship, a collaboration with the Urban Schools Human Capital Academy, a national non-profit organization. This initiative provides Louisiana's human resource directors with the chance to engage with human capital professionals from both the state and across the nation, focusing on effective strategies for attracting and retaining high-quality educators.

The professional learning is continuous in SLP! An Educator Academy, Getting to Know and Effectively Use the Amplify Science Curriculum, was presented by Instructional Specialists, Felicia Dupre and Allison Dunbar at Eunice Elementary. The Kindergarten through 4th grade teachers learned how to navigate the curriculum resources in order to maximize student learning. Teachers were able to collaborate, plan, and get a deeper understanding of 3-Dimensional learning in the science classroom.
Mr. Jason Stark, Science and Math teacher and coach, at Opelousas Senior High presented at the LaSTEM Summit. He engaged participants in a Chemistry activity as he shared his expertise on Modeling Instruction in Science Education.
